Courtney is originally a Tennessee native but has been in North Carolina for the last 10 years and wouldn’t call anywhere else home. She attended Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN where she majored in History.

For the past several years, Courtney has been a dedicated member of the SMID team. She manages a variety of responsibilities, from greeting guests in the studio to managing sample acquisition, quality control, paperwork and shipping. She contributes not only her skills and expertise, but also her quiet charm and sense of humor, helping to create a fun and welcoming workspace.

Outside of work, Courtney enjoys a fulfilling life with her husband, Tom and child, Kylie. They have two cats. She loves curling up with a good book and unwinding in bed but makes staying active and healthy a priority.
